  • NASA Technical Reports

    The NTRS is a valuable resource for students, educators, researchers, and the public for access to NASA's current and historical technical literature since it was first released in 1994. NTRS provides access to approximately 500K aerospace related citations, 90K full-text online documents, and 111K images and videos. NTRS numbers continues to grow over time as new scientific and technical information (STI) is created or funded by NASA. The type of information found in NTRS include: conference papers, images, journal articles, photos, meeting papers, movies, patents, research reports, and technical videos.
  • National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD)

    Established in 1978, the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD) archives and disseminates data on crime and justice for secondary analysis. The archive contains data from over 2,700 curated studies or statistical data series. NACJD is home to several large-scale and well known datasets, including the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS), the FBI's Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), the FBI's National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), and the Project on Human Development in Chicago Neighborhoods (PHDCN), and terrorism datasets.

    NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education.   • National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Property Search

    NIST produces the Nation’s Standard Reference Data (SRD). These data are assessed by experts and are trustworthy such that people can use the data with confidence and base significant decisions on the data. NIST provides 49 free SRD databases and 41 fee-based SRD databases. SRD must be compliant with rigorous critical evaluation criteria. Thermal, mechanical, structural, and chemical properties are included in the collections. Fracture Toughness provide fracture toughness data on numerous materials. Also includes property data on borate base glasses, germanate base glasses, phosphate base glasses and silicate base glasses.

  • National Population Census of China

    The National Population Census of China Database (NPCC) provides access to digitized reports and Excel files of the population census published by China Statistics Press. Currently, JHU has access to data from the 1st (1953) through the 7th (2020) censuses. Areas covered include gender, age, nationality, permanent residence registration, education level, industry, occupation, social security, marriage, fertility, death, housing, migration, and more. This resource includes population data of the whole country, 31 provinces and centrally administered municipalities. Bilingual (Chinese and English) display is provided.     The NPDB is primarily an alert or flagging system intended to facilitate a comprehensive review of health care practitioners' professional credentials. The information contained in the NPDB is intended to direct discrete inquiry into, and scrutiny of, specific areas of a practitioner's licensure, professional society memberships, medical malpractice payment history, and record of clinical privileges. The information contained in the NPDB should be considered together with other relevant data in evaluating a practitioner's credentials; it is intended to augment, not replace, traditional forms of credentials review.

    The NCBI Structure Group maintains: MMDB, a database of macromolecular 3D structures, as well as tools for their visualization and comparative analysis.
