The Video Journal of Orthopaedics (VJO)
Johns Hopkins University Libraries

About this Database

The Video Journal of Orthopaedics (VJO) is a collection of over 300 educational videos created between 1996 and 2022 pertinent to the clinical practice of orthopaedic surgery.  The original peer-reviewed videos examine established surgical techniques, as well as introduce new techniques and technologies important to the orthopaedic surgeon.

The videos were gifted to Johns Hopkins University in 2025, and access is for the JH community and not for public presentation.

JBJS Video Supplements were made possible by a Multimedia Alliance between The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS) and VJO, with the goal to increase the depth of information reported in select JBJS subscription articles through production of video supplements that focus on the described surgical procedures therein.
