EMBASE

 

About EMBASE

EMBASE provides access to both US and international biomedical and pharmacological literature. It indexes more than 7,000 journals from over 70 countries. EMBASE is searchable using EMTREE, its controlled vocabulary. The database contains more than 18 million records, including EMBASE records from 1974 to the present; MEDLINE records from 1966 to the present. EMBASE is updated daily, adding more then 2,000 records and more than 600,000 records annually.

**IMPORTANT** In order to save your searches, EMBASE.com requires you to register for a username and password. During the registration process you will be prompted to enter an institutional key; our key is Johns Hopkins University.
