Journals in Online Databases (jake)
Full-text, Abstracts, Citation Only
Search jake
The Jointly Administered Knowledge Environment (jake) is a database which can help the user to:
- find out which database indexes a particular journal.
- find out which database contains full text of a particular journal.
- expand journal abbreviations (e.g., Brain Behav Immun , or Cell Biol Int )
- obtain a journal's ISSN.
You will not be connected directly to the specific database -- jake is a a tool designed to help you locate the appropriate online database to go to in order to search a particular journal. Choose Complete Details to get the list of databases in which a journal can be found. Check Welch's electronic resources to find out if we own the database you need and to view the electronic full-text journals Welch owns.
This search uses a free project called jake, hosted by Cushing/Whitney Medical Library at the Yale University School of Medicine. To read about jake, go to http://jake.med.yale.edu/docs/about.html.
