Web Site Mission

The mission of the William H. Welch Medical Library website is to provide information resources and technology in support of the educational, research, and patient care objectives of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and its affiliates by:

assuring universal access and linkage to biomedical and relevant social sciences literature;
exploring and promoting effective utilization of information and knowledge; and
educating library users in the principles and techniques of information management.
