Inaccuracies in Journal Article Reference Citations and Abstracts: Combatting a Common Problem

Despite the fundamental importance of accuracy in scientific reporting, mistakes continue to abound in reference citations and abstracts of peer-reviewed journal articles. In this session we will briefly examine the nature and scope of the problem and reflect together about ways in which informationists can help combat these errors.
