Welch Library Food & Drink Policy

The Welch Medical Library permits users to bring food and drink to the library within reason and in small quantities under the following guidelines:

• Beverages are permitted provided they are in a bottle with a cap, a cup with a lid, or in a soft drink can.
• Food and beverages of any kind are prohibited on the third floor of the Welch Building where the History of Medicine collection resides.
• No food may be delivered to the library.
• Alcohol use is prohibited  in the library.
• Library users must dispose of their own trash in appropriate receptacles.
